3D Modeling

3D modeling is a useful skill to learn if you are interested in having your creations printed in 3D, designing video games, animating and so much more. It is just as much a creative art skill as it is a technology one! In this nanodegree, students learned what 3D Modeling and 3D Printing are used for, and how to use Tinkercad (a web-based program for 3D modeling) to create 3-Dimensional designs.

In this Nanodegree, we help students experiment with several tools and techniques (e.g. tactical empathy, mirroring, etc.) that may help win arguments and be effective negotiators in the long run.

In Introduction to Programming with SCRATCH, students had the chance to collaborate, communicate, solve problems and use critical thinking skills to complete different activities. Using the SCRATCH website students explored the community, created their own projects, and gave helpful and appropriate feedback to their peers.

Food Innovation

The food innovation nanodegree will help students understand the past, present and especially the future of food. We will review food traditions, which technologies out there can change the way we eat (e.g. using virtual reality), new ways to make sure foods are already in place (e.g. 3D printed food) and how we can be co-creators in designing the future products we always wanted (using creative problem solving).
